Ultiverse Partnering with Celer to Launch Cross-Chain NFTs
Ultiverse is excited to announce our partnership with Celer Network, a blockchain interoperability protocol that enables a one-click user experience for accessing GameFi, NFTs, DeFi, tokens and governance across multiple chains. With this partnership, Ultiverse will be able to launch innovative cross-chain NFTs for our users.
Different from traditional NFTs that can only be issued and traded on a single chain, cross-chain NFTs can be seamlessly transferred across multiple blockchains while maintaining true authenticity and ownership. Ultiverse’s NFTs will be transferable starting with Ethereum and BNB Chain with more chains, such as Flow and Solana, to be added soon.

This partnership will first start with our Genesis PFP NFT collection @0xElectricsheep, which will be cross-chain-compatible while featuring a wide span of utility. Users will be able to make a single transaction to transfer their @0xElectricsheep NFTs between any of the supported chains in a few seconds at extremely-low cost, with security underpinned by Celer’s L1 blockchain security and optimistic-rollup-like security models.
With the MainNet launch of Celer’s NFT bridge coming soon, Ultiverse and Celer will continue to pioneer in the space of NFT and metaverse multi-chain interoperability together.
